We split them up. My Aunt was an INS Agent in Puerto Rico for years before 9/11 happend and as you know the INS was conslidated into DHS. Allowing airports to be in charge of their own security, therefore those who support racial profile and beatdowns of those who dont "comply" can support the airports who do such things. Im off to work Ill answer this more in depth when I get back.

I look forward to it, have a good day at work.

Oh, just something to ponder while there. What airports are you speaking of? I haven't seen any "beatdowns" or profiling going on. In fact that we search Granny, and let Ahmed through unquestioned, is proof of just the opposite isn't it?

Seriously, where were you all when Cheney held secret meetings with energy CEOs and then blocked the notes citing Executive Privilege - then later, claiming his office wasn't part of the Executive Branch?

I would buy it from you if I felt it was truly bipartisan.

You know, I talked with a friend that if we really wanted to show them something, we would reach across party lines and we would agree that those of us who live in districts that are so dominated by one party all the time would throw that party out of office. In other words, let's reverse EVERY SINGLE DISTRICT in the nation. I would be perfectly fine with Republicans gaining control of Congress for a couple of years if it meant that someone like Dan Burton (he's been ensconced for 20 years from Indiana) was thrown out, too.

But what's going to happen is that a few tight districts are going to flip and those who benefit from the gerrymandering process will remain in office continuing to grift the American people and choose their successor because they know their seat's going to be there forever for their party.

So, that's why I'm skeptical. I'm not skeptical of the anger - because I've been feeling it long before there was a Tea Party. I'm just skeptical of how it's being directed.
Fair enough, but I think, notwithstanding a few rotten eggs, myself included, we all agree with you. Kick em all out.

I wouldn't/didn't except that from my kids when they were small, and I don't expect it from adults.

It's not a "you did it, too" argument.

It's a "where were you?" argument?

The anger I hear expressed is identical to some of the things we were saying back then. And you all seemed fine with it.

Do you deny that Cheney held back-room meetings with energy CEO's and then blocked the notes citing privilege?

Why can't this be uniting those of us who are pissed off about government instead of just being anti-Obama and defend Bush?

Do you deny that we share some anger in common with Congress? Do you deny that, despite our political differences, we have equal complaints that government has become to distant from the governed?

Why, then, can't we create a movement that is truly bi-partisan. Why can't we ignore our differences long enough just to bring government back to ourselves. At that point, then we can go back to our partisan bickering.

Hell, I've been yelled at because I said I would create a tax strategy that - if a company created enough jobs, their effective tax rate could be 0% - and was then called a communist for it. What the hell?

And thanks for the chance to have a few words with someone with whom I can furiously disagree but do respect. That's becoming very rare around here.

I believe that Beck has even less character and is nothing more than a charlatan taking people's money the same way Jimmy Swaggert bilked religious people for millions. I've still said he deserves the right to do that since it's technically not illegal.

So, your way of "restoring honor" in America is rounding up those you disagree with and throwing them in jail?

Sounds about like what a Beck believer would say.
Jackson and Sharpton have character? What crime did Beck commit?

All the crimes Beck has committed are not on the books (thus far).

He's no angel. And you all know it. You just keep drinking the koolaid.

No, you just did that. He never said all blacks were poor and on welfare.
