    KICK!

They are not, but if we just had Organic Farms, these recalls would be practically non-existant. It's only in the last 15-20 where we has experienced this phenomena... the age of the factory farm.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

What silly non-sense. And Food prices would be higher then today too. These recalls have increased as methods for tracking both from and to producer to seller have improved.

I don't need the govt to track my meat and produce from producer to seller. If I get sick from something, Ima just walk on over to the farm and bitch slap the guy I bought it off of.

And I really don't pay that much more for my stuff. What little bit more I do pay is worth it.

The Canadian government found the problem.
Maybe we should stop importing food?

With all of the expensive recalls that will most likely get worse, the prices will not stay low.

I saw an excellent and informative interview on CNN last night regarding this subject. Please watch and see for yourself:

People are bitching about this egg recall thing. My grandfather was a chicken farmer. He had 4 "chicken houses" each an acrex50 feet long and housing 22k chickens to begin with, although that number would drop significantly after the 52 days of having them there. He got out of the business not just because of getting older, but because of all the bs cost associated with it that the chicken farm companies charge. The government needs to step in and make sure this price gouging does not continue, so that it can encourage more chicken farmers to crop up, instead of shut down.

In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and thats crazy." -Reagan

Given that a meat inspector made the find, I would say that the system did work. Its never going to be perfect, but this recall is far better than what could have happened.
