Actually, Civ 4 has been a great game. Major changes coming with Civ 5, though. You cannot stack units on a tile, and archers, cannon, etc will be able to attack more than a tile away. With only one unit per tile, war is going to now involve lots of strategy. Also, tiles will be hexagons, which means that you will have 6 ways to move pieces instead of 8, which is going to limit movement a bit, thus increasing the strategic aspect of the game. Gone are the days of putting 20 units in a stack and overwhelming a city. I am looking forward to this new release.

Still sounds pretty "meh". Again, I think the series reached it's height with Call to Power II and since then it's been basically putting a new hat on the same idea and trying to sell it.

Part of the problem is Civ is in a somewhat unflexible genre that cant change very much. The only thing they can really do is make the existing aspects of the game better, but I havent really seen that done.

I have it for PS3. My pc graphics card can't handle Star Wars Battlefront 2 (although the Orange Box works just fine). There are a few pop up issues of distant landmarks and glitches. I had the Regulator perk, but the women who pays you for fingers freaked out for some reason, ran away, and despawned from the game. Generally, it runs smoothly though.

And my comment about turn based games was unrelated to that post, it was just a random statement, lol.
But i was talking about civ and risk.
I was responding to the quote inside of your post. I was too lazy to go back and make another post.

Except that Call to Power II isn't a Civ game.

Call to Power II (CTP2) is a PC turn-based strategy game released by Activision as a sequel to Civilization: Call to Power, which was, in turn, a game similar to the Civilization computer game by Sid Meier. The game could not have "Civilization" in its title because the word is trademarked by the makers of the original Civilization series.[1] In October 2003, Activision released the source code, enabling the Apolyton gaming community to debug, improve, and add new features.

Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Re: Liam Fox defends call for ban of Medal of Honor game

I don't play computer games, however I do not see how this Medal of Honor video game could be any worse than the games involving crime. For example a game that had a lot of controversy also, Grand Theft Auto. Many computer games contain gratuitous violence on a disturbing level. I'll just sum up by saying that I am against censorship. We all have the freedom of choice to not purchase the game if it offends us. Censorship is not a good road to go down. It's about personal liberties.

    Thanks for your time.
