No I do not deny the Holocaust.
I do not have a statue of Hitler at the end of garden where I make ritual offerings to.
I do not plot terrorist attacks and have a model of the British airports or maps of the London underground system under my bed.
I have not to my knowledge fired a gun nor do I have a stash of AK 47's in my shed.
I do not hate Jews or Non Muslims
And finally as a Muslim women I am not ritually beaten for talking out of turn (lol at that one. Somali women are known for being stubborn and we control the household money)

Yes and also those people who will quickly jump to hate on all Muslims no matter what and will not know there are as many different Muslims in the world as numbers.

Those who quickly lump all Muslims as one and hate Islam only needed a excuse for their hatred. They already had it, just didn't know what cover to use for it.

Would it make a difference to you if I directed my hatred towards those islamic extremist and not the entire Islamic faith?

I find it dificult to seperate Islam from the extremist. Much of what the extrmist does he learns from the Islamic text. Am I wrong?

Why does me being a Muslim stop me from hating those who kill innocent people? They are my enemy as much as they are my Governments.

I don't really buy that. Most of what has been presented against the Imam has been misrepresented and totally misunderstood (or dilberately misinterpreted).

No, he did not call for Sharia law here as some claimed earlier. he said clearly our consitition already had the needed fairness.

And no, he did not excuse 9/11 for our action, but was simply honest, as beck and other conservatives have been, in noting that we were not simply minding our own business. We weren't. There is a conflict. But he rightly states it does not justify or excuse the attacks.

So, yes, the critism has been mostly inaccurate.

You are completely wrong...as usual. When I worked at the ACLU in Utah we often fought on behalf of the Mormon church. Its not a matter of agreeing with the message, its a matter of respecting the rights and guarantees of our Constitution. They don't come with an asterisk.

Absolutely I would. Look...I disagree vehemently with Fred Phelps, but I fully support his right to express his beliefs. This is America Damnit!....at least it still was the last time I checked.....we DON'T censor ideas and beliefs simply because we don't agree with them. As I stated in an early post, the rights and freedoms guaranteed to all of us in this great country don't come with an asterisk.
