He was wrongly convicted, if you study the details of the case this fact becomes obvious.

Yes yes, we are slowly dying at the heart at the thought of what Americans think of us.

What the Scots did is done and over with, I don't see why any form of warning has to be sent by UK to Libya.

I think it's just meant to make sure that Libya understands how pathetic the UK truly is, just in case they didn't get the messege when the mass murderer was released because he has cancer.

What you were supposed to do is keep the man in jail for life. You let him out before that sentence was up.

And now the dickless Brits are whining any Libyan celebration over the freedom of this mass murderer would be inappropriate. To hell with that. The Libyans have every reason to celebrate, they made fools of the Brits for free.

Explain why they shouldn't celebrate. Because it makes Britain look foolish and gullible?

Well, Britain was foolish and gullible and greedy, too.

Actually, it's newsworthy because that maggot murdered some of my friends.

Life in prison means "die behind bars of old age".

No reason to be compassionate towards a murdering maggot, not ever.

    He was convicted.

You got any record of the conviction being overturned by an appeal?

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
