I know that but if said community is just standing around Mecca, it won't be that bad for them.
I'm sure gay individuals have entered Mecca before anyway.

Of course they support it. It's a long-standing Islamic tradition to build a mosque at the point of a great conquest. It's like crapping in your front yard, then rubbing your nose in it.

Is this an attempt at illogically pinning those who support the mosque to the likes of Hamas? It's intellectually dishonest and I'm sure Hamas doesn't support it for the same reason we do. I highly doubt they support it for reasons of religious freedom and American values. But nice try though.

I find it odd that both Hamas and Mr. Obama agree that Muslims "must have houses of worship" (regardless of location) in order for America (not the greater Islamic world) to show "compassion and religious egalitarianism."

No one has yet asked the itching questions:
I think most of those questions have pretty obvious answers.

-When will Islam show its religious egalitarianism? Tolerance?
Religions promote their own religion and have the idea that only their religion is the correct path. So why would they promote the idea that all religions are equal or treat other religions as equal?

-When will Mecca, the holiest of Islamic cities, hold a Gay Pride Parade?
As far as I know mecca does not have parades and homosexuality is a major sin in that religion.(as well as other religions) So the idea that they would allow a parade for something their religion not only opposes but considers a major sin in one of their most sacred cities is totally absurd.

-When will the Islamic world build synagogues and churches?[/COLOR]
Why would any religious group build a a religious building for a competing religion It would be like Wal-Mart building a K-Mart or Sears.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

When I crap in the front yard others, I don't rub their nose in it.
    That would be just weird.

What was the gay bar in Police Academy? I think it should be that one.

[re-posted because I really wanted to see it responded to, instead of left to rot on the first page]

Maybe because it is irrelevant perhaps?

It is a sad day in America when who gets the right to do what hinges not on our constitution but something stupid like the customs and social norms of people in a country thousands of miles away from here.
