So, the mosque is in poor taste. Does that justify the hypocrisy of placing a gay bar next to it solely for the purpose of spite? It makes you just as bad as them.

Well thats just it, the mosque isn't in poor taste at all. It doesn't warrant such a mean-spirited reaction as this comedy routine from Gutfeld, which is really just a series of vulgar slurs, in very poor taste. I'm a fan of red-eye, and I think Greg Gutfeld is better than this, but he's a right-wing comedian so it seems to me he's pandering to the bigoted reactionary response to the mosque.

The zoning is legal for a religious building, but may not be legal for a strip club, since strip clubs are usually not allowed in residential areas.

Are they allowed to open a business? Yes or No?
I don't make zoning decisions in Manhattan, so I don't have the information necessary to answer this question.

Has Mr. Gutfield applied for a business license and building permit? The responses he receives would likely answer your questions.

What if your purpose was primarily humor-related? Would that still piss you off just as much?

What if the reason was to promote tolerance and diversity? Isn't that a good thing?

As one who lost friends and family on 911 I can tell you a little better than you from wherever you are from not in NYC, that it is in poor taste. you can screech bigotry all you want.

How offensive something is primarily resides in the eye of the beholder. I find the mosque offensive. Who are you to tell me that I'm not allowed to find it offensive?

Whats hypocritical about placing a revenue generating business nearby?

Thus my obligatory condemnation of White supremacy will now be in every post, lest I be accused of supporting it because I didn't mention it specifically every time I post.

It's probably just a lame excuse to make jokes that are both homophobic and anti-Islamic at the same time, very poor taste.
Yes it is in poor taste, just like building a mosque of conquest is in poor taste near ground zero.
Gutfeld is a funny man and I really don't think he is serious about it. His idea was to have a non-alchoholic bar, with 72 virgin drinks and caters to gay Muslims. Seeing as how the Quran only premits sex my a man and woman who are married ,I doubt many gay muslims would frequent there due to it's location.

You are assuming that is his goal. He said his goal is to promote tolerance. How is that any different from the people who don't believe the Imam's true intentions of opening the Mosque where it is?
