It went from losing 600k private sector jobs per month to gaining 70k.
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

Except, that there weren't actually 70,000 jobs created.

It's trick math. It's like that rediculous commercial that suggest a freight train can haul one ton of cargo 400 miles, on one gallon of fuel. I guess P.T. Barnum was right.

You can document this claim of course.

The job numbers? I already have, try and keep up.

As far as P.T. Barnum being right, one only has to read this thread.

No you have not. You pointed out a few thousand census workers who are already mostly off the payroll.

There werwe 130,000 jobs lost in July. 40,000 of those jobs were census jobs. That leaves 90,000 jobs. That doesn't equate to a gain of 70,000 jobs.

The government is playing tricks on some of you and you're falling for it.

Where you are confused is with the notion of private sector and public sector jobs. Overall, we lost jobs, since the government shed workers. However, the private sector gained 71k jobs in July. So, Goldenboy is correct, and your objection based on census workers is absolutely wrong, since census workers are not private sector employees.

This is slightly off-topic, but it seems to be that the Bush tax cuts to the very wealthy (which are still in effect) did not increase jobs one iota.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

They did not to any degree

Most of the money the wealthy retained went into financial investments or were invested offshore rather then to productive investments in the US which would have increased jobs domestically.

From the summer of 2003 when the tax cuts for everyone went into effect, until the housing and financial markets went belly up, those tax cuts created over 8 million jobs. (See image below)

Why don't you check the statistic from the BLS website and get back to me.
