unpopularity is irrelevant!
now, here's just one more example of that we-know-best mentality that's dominating washington of late, public be damned
and hardly, in this case, coming from an elite
3/4 divided by 5/8 is equal to 3/4 times 8/5 (you have to invert/flip the divisor, which is the 2nd number)
the 4 and the 8 cancel down to a 1 and a 2, respectively
so 3/4 times 8/5 becomes 3/1 times 2/5
you multiply the numerators (the top numbers) and the denominators (the bottom numbers) and you get 6/5
now, 6/5 is an improper fraction (top too big)
so you divide 5 into 6, which goes once with 1 left over
and that's how you get to 1 and 1/5!
isn't that helpful?
need another example, machiavelli?

unpopularity is irrelevant...
obama will be glad to hear it, he hit an all time low this week (again)
Poll: Waning support for Obama on wars - USATODAY.comOnly 41% of those surveyed Tuesday through Sunday approved of the way Obama is handling his job, his lowest rating in the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll since he took office in January 2009.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
