It ain't my fault that you have to keep misrepresenting what was in the article.
maybe gates is right

barack hussein obama is the FOOL who ESCALATED afghanistan
remember?
how's that going?
I would simply be stunned if either the US or Israel militarily attacked Iran outright. I estimate a successful preemption would require at least two weeks of intense 24/7 air strikes. Special Ops on the ground would be required along Iran's coastline to keep the Persian Gulf open to oil tanker traffic.
I don't think Obama has the balls to do what would be required. I don't think Israel has the military capability to do what would be required. If either military should attack Iran, the other will certainly be sucked into the resulting fray whether they want it or not. Due to this piggy-back effect, I don't think either would act unilaterally. They would both know well before anyone else.
A tipoff would be any large scale shuttling of diplomatic/military personnel between Washington and Jerusalem.
Or... if I am suddenly and mysteriously re-activated
The Jerusalem Post website on Sunday said reports that the Israeli military had established a base in Saudi Arabia originated with Iranian and Israeli news outlets. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency and Ha'aretz were among Israeli media carrying the reports credited to Fars, the semi-official Iranian news agency. The Fars report was also picked up buy international outlets such as UPI.
The reports said the Israeli base is about five miles from Tabuk in northwest Saudi Arabia.
The Islam Times said Israeli airplanes landed at an international airport and Israeli soldiers unloaded military equipment on June 18 and 19. Saudi officials canceled commercial air traffic and, one traveler told the Islam Times, paid to put up passengers in nearby four-star hotels to prevent them from expressing anger.
Tabuk, the closest Saudi city to Israel, is just south of Jordan, the Post said.
Earlier deal reported
The claim follows a report two weeks ago in the London Times Magazine that Saudi Arabia had given Israel permission to fly through a narrow corridor of airspace in northern Saudi Arabia to shorten the flight time Israeli jets need to reach Iran.
Israel Air Force aircraft dropped off large quantities of military gear at a Saudi Arabian military base a week ago, in preparation for a potential attack on Iran, a number of Iranian and Israeli news outlets have reported.
The unconfirmed report, first published by the semi-official Iranian news agency Fars and the Islam Times Web site, claimed that on June 18 and 19, Israeli helicopters unloaded military equipment and built a base just over 8 km. outside the northwestern city of Tabuk, the closest Saudi city to Israel, located just south of Jordan. All civilian flights into and out of the city were said to have been canceled during the Israeli drop-off, and passengers were reportedly compensated by the Saudi authorities and accommodated in nearby hotels.
The Israeli Air Force recently unloaded military equipment at a Saudi Arabia base, a semi-official Iranian news agency claimed Wednesday, while a large American force has massed in Azerbaijan, which is on the northwest border of Iran.
Both reports follow by less than a week the Pentagon’s confirmation that an unusually large American fleet sailed through the Suez Canal Saturday. Several reports stated that an Israeli ship joined the armada.
that is some quality which is seen rarely on internet forums, but you're partly right. I still have problems admitting crimes that my country does, since I should take responsibility for them as a citizien, but I can't do anything about it, as I have no part in my government's decisions and I'm sorry for that. believe me, I do try.

Anything that originates from Fars should be treated with caution. This might be another sign, although it's hard to say how accurate it is.
