Good to see the White House step up and admit they were wrong. Knee jerk reactions are rarely a good thing.

Sad note for the White House then as that is all they are good at.

So we are supposed to believe with Obama's track record of bad mouthing conservative news organizations he did this because of this news story?

Nice try but Obama dropped the ball when he could have access to the NAACP. Nice try but Obama as usual acted without thinking

She admitted to being a racist and depriving a citizen of his rights, under the law. Not much excuse for that, either.

    "I'm sorry", doesn't cut it.

The scary part, is that she's not the only black bureaucrat that harbors those feelings. Whose ready for government healthcare?

Food for thought: when a bureuacrat like Sherrod deprives you of your rights, that person isn't going to ask if you are a Liberal, nor if you voted for Obama.

She didn't do that at all. She related a story from about 24 years ago, when she was not even working for the government, which detailed how she felt about helping a white guy, when black farmers were losing their farms in droves, and how she was able to put her feelings aside and help him, with the result that his farm was saved. IMHO, this was not racism at all, but a courageous speech which detailed how she was able to beat the demons that were haunting her. In the end, she did not deprive the white farmer his rights at all. SHE SAVED HIS DAMN FARM. Brietbart's edited and doctored version of the speech is the racist one.

She was trying to help him when she, "sent to his own kind"?

I don't think anyone realized that it was going to happen. All that happened was the release of a video.

We'll probably never know the full story of what happened. But I find it kind of hard to believe that he would release the edited tapes if he knew that when the rest was revealed, he'd be discredited and embarrased.

What, Breitbart? He has a long history of releasing tapes that shed light on an otherwise unreported situation. Sometimes there's more to the story than there appears to be, either because he didn't have all the facts or because he was being misleading (again, we may never know). Sometimes it's just what it looks like, or close enough to what it looks like that light needed to be shed on the situation. Breitbart himself is only the messenger. Manipulative he may be, but he's about 20x better at his job than every other journalist in existence today. I've heard many liberals complain that there aren't enough investigative journalists like Bob Woodward today, and to a small extent, they're right; but then someone like Breitbart does the job for them, and they despise him. Breitbart himself is the symbol of what new media has made possible, and how journalism can transition into the new environment.
