That statement is another example of the inherent dishonesty that the progressive movement thrives on. If you can't dispute the facts, just attack and smear...

Keep up the good work comrade... Karl Marx would be proud if he were alive today.
We are disputing the facts, lol. Are you that lost?

She was telling a story that the main message of is that you shouldn't be prejudiced.

Only a hyper partisan would try to twist that into something damning.

    To put this in perspective...

A Liberal organization looking after its own.

A Conservative media outlet doing what they believe was necessary to "even the score".

Only difference here is the black USDA employee admitted to her wrong doing and subsequently resigned of her own accord, whereas, the extreme Tea Party member had to be kicked out and has yet to acknowledge his wrong-doing. Doesn't seem quite fair to me, but regardless both were wrong for their racist conduct. Just seems as though the woman learned her lesson long beforehand, whereas, the Tea Party member may well continue with his deplorable actions. Doesn't seem fair does it?
I agree with you. This lady admitting her racism goes further than Tea Party folks who claimed that they never saw racism "ever" at a TP gathering.

But I also want to stress that organizations are set up to be advocates for a certain block of people, not just liberal. This is not unreasonable. Just like we also have the Georgia Farm Bureau (the discrimination was against a Georgia farmer, right) who's states the following as their purpose:

"The purpose of the Georgia Farm Bureau Federation, as the largest farm organization in Georgia, is to provide leadership and assistance to the agricultural sector, to promote farm products.."
Georgia Farm Bureau - About Us Yeah, farmers organizations are there for farmers.

NAACP is the National Association for the Advancement of COLORED People. Thus, black americans, who have been the subject of horrendous discrimination practices (slavery has to top the list) in the US, are allowed to have an organization to change and protect this groups rights. If you a farmer in Georgia, you go to the GFBF for support. This is within the individual purposes of these groups.

I guess what I'm getting to is that if an organization is honest about what they representing (and its not against the law) and they're upfront about it, there is nothing wrong with this. Now Fox News??? I think their slogan is "Fair and Balanced." Uh, huh.

Damn, you're getting the people mixed up again. Karl Marx is not known for propaganda, that was the Nazis. But I know that example has been getting a workout lately.

EDIT PS-You're not a Tea Partier, are you? Could you explain why the Iowa Tea Party people used Lenin in their ad? Usually its always Stalin.

Thats bull****. People like that...even if they change should NEVER be allowed to demonstrate that change to others or help people learn and grow from their experience!

A quote from the video after she made her declaration that it's about the poor:

"It's not so much about white... it is about white and black but it's not... you know..."
What she clearly said is, that race does play a part in how she did her job, but other factors were also considered. Race should have played NO part in the decisions she made, but it did, and does.

What part of that do you not understand?

I agree. Every time it happens I just shake my head at the willful ignorance on display.

What would you say if Daily kos released a selectively edited clip of a conservative like this without the full context? I'm betting you're first reaction wouldn't be to raise a pitchfork up to the conservative as you are doing to this lady.

Every conservative in this thread that thinks that this video proves that the NAACP is a racist organization needs to lay off the kool aid and think for themselves.

And every lib that believes that the Tea Party is chock full of racism should do the same....

To portray Tea Party members as rabid red-necked racists, Think Progress has been caught red-handed doctoring videos in an effort to make Tea Party patriots look like racists.

Oh yes, there are racists in the videos, but they are not patriots. They are infiltrators from the left’s failed “Crash the Tea Party” drive that were called out, videotaped and exposed by patriots during previous Tea Party gatherings.
