We got a happy ending, she got fired.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

    So what....there is a connection.....

    Don't you see it?

Bush is a white guy and this farmer is a white guy.
Do I have to put it on a blackboard for you?

Right, because people who tell us stories about how they believed 20 years ago and how their views have become enlightened over time are meaningless! No one should ever be allowed to change their minds or see the light!

After all, that's what intelligent, well-meaning, and honest people do, and we can't have that in America!!! Hatred, distrust, and anger -- that's the Vicchio way! Just like Jesus preached!

The wife of the farmer. And yes I know the story. It doesn't change what she said or how she delivered it.

Rush Limbaugh? Another unsubstantiated assumption, well done.

Now go ahead and explain what she said in that tape that she did the minimum because it was a white farmer isn't racist.

    I'll wait.

Faux Outrage Dan, but I don't expect anything less from someone so keen to be seen as a "good docile conservative, ever ready to be liked."
The edited clip sure was. The orginal clip, before the heavy editing by the scumbag race-baiter Breitbart, was nothing of the sort. What Breitbard did to doctor the clip was nothing short of slander.

How did his editing make what she said not racist?

    Oh thats right, IT DOESN'T

Until you can explain how saying you would only do the minimum for a person based on race you don't have a leg to stand on.

No, we're talking about what she said not less than five minutes later. The part that was edited out by the right wing media to completely change the meaning of the story.

What she said was basically this: "Years ago, I held racist views. I then learned from my mistake."

The edit was released as "I held racist views."

When I first read about this, I reacted the same way you did -- that woman needs to be fired.

Then I LEARNED. Then I found out some facts. And it was clear that the way it was presented was incomplete and wrong, and that she was speaking out AGAINST racism.

It's very clear. Your inability to admit that only shows your bias.
