Who called them evil? I said they were tabloids. Do you have anything other than OTHER PEOPLE DO IT TOO! to prove me incorrect?

As did the NAACP and as did the White House.

When are they going to take responsibility?
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I had some of the same crow, and it tastes fine - especially when we're honest about being wrong.

Seems to me like you're still blaming the Obama administration for something. Hardly honest. Are you also going to now engage in long diatribes about why this woman should be rehired with the same fervor you did when you were convinced she was you know, a racist?

See...I think this is kind of bull****. If you watch the video...ms Sherrod was calling HERSELF to repentence and accountability. She was pointing out that she recognized in HERSELF the bigotry that she was displaying and she moved to correct her actions. God bless her we NEED more people like her in positions of power and authority.

Anyone that DOESNT believe that ALL PARTIES...ALL RACES...ALL GROUPS have members and representatives that are or have racial biases is either a liar or a fool. But there are enough legitimate cases of racism that need to be and should be addressed. This particular person and case is not one of them. maybe a slap on the wrist, but MAYBE a promotion. Based on what little of her I know and have seen (which is admittedly not much) I'd be THRILLED to have her running my office.

Obama should be ashamed of himself. Brietbart produces a tape that they heavily edited, that misrepresents what she said, and the administration demands her head on a platter?

    1) I hope she sues Breitbart for defamation.

    2) Shame on you, Obama.

Looks like the talk radio spin machine now has some REAL ammunition on Obama, who is willing to throw loyal employees to the wolves over lies.

The right thing to do is for the President WITH Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack right beside him to to on national television and publicly apologize to Mrs. Sherrod and rehire her on the stop!! Whether or not she takes the job back is up to her, but both the President and the AgSec need to publically apologize to this woman.

There is plenty of blame to go around. A lot of posters here jumped to conclusions. CNN ran that clip as did Fox News. The NAACP was so spun up over their rhetoric about the Tea Party that in their haste to show they WERENT supporting racist they condemend a woman without knowing the facts. The Obama White house did the same thing they did in Camden...ran their mouth without knowing the facts, then without so much as conducting an interview with the woman, they demanded she resign, all in the name of politics. Oh...theres plenty of blame and shame to go around.

And lets not forget the audience members...they werent exactly APPALLED when in Ms Sherrod was giving her accounting. there was an awful lot of clapping and uh huh 'n and approval, prior to her relaying that 'teachable moment'

You can spin it all you like but you can't take back what she said or that smirk on her face when she said it.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
