Outrage over ruling that mom who strangled daughter won’t be jailed

Yes she may very well have killed her daughter, but this is not what a court said and last time I checked it was the courts job to decide such things. This would not have made the news if she was not Muslim.

This is a moot issue and quite frankly I could care less if she strangled her daughter in the middle of main street. The rest of the world and a myriad of other extremely important issues ticks on while these ignorant saps invest their valuable time in the talk show emotional drama of this cooked up bull**** news story.

You're not Danarhea in disguise are you? Just notice the similarity in names. BTW, the Muslim needs to hang for murder.

No way this is Danarhea. He's too smart to post that.

How about proving that baseless assumption?

Have you ever seen a murder case in which the press mentioned that the man was a Christian? No...case proved.

Tex did not mention Muslim nor Islam. .. I also did not, but you just did

Wait...you are talking about Islam, the same Islam that is down with stoning women because they did something the rest of the world would find normal or acceptable, the same Islam that finds "honor" killing and marrying children to grown men acceptable.

Is that what you want to talk about?

"I didn't mention Islam but here's something about Islam!"

Tex didn't mention it, but I seriously doubt he would have posted this thread if the article hadn't mentioned it.

So you can't prove it.

Got it. Next time just say so.

Oh and to break up your other moronic comment about the press hiding Christian for murderer

Police named their suspect as Scott Roeder, 51. The man, who as not yet been charged but is being questioned, was stopped in his car some 30 miles from Kansas City, Missouri.

In 2007, a man with the same name left a message on the Operation Rescue website thanking those who had prayed to “bring justice to Tiller and [for] the closing of his death camp”.

He may also be the same Scott Roeder who, as a member of the Freemen, an anti-federalist Christian militia group, was jailed for 16 months in Kansas in 1997.

So once again nothing to base your statment on but your gut. Nice debate tactics.

The fact the source you used here was a British paper is kinda amusing.

Just sayin'...

Standard conservative absolutism. Nowhere did I defend the killing. As for "hating women," I think you're projecting.

The only reason in the world why you would attack the OP is because the murderer was a Muslim, it is abundantly clear that you will sink to any depths to defend Islamist violence right now you are defending it by trying to deflect from the subject of the OP by conducting an ad-hominem logical fallacy and attacking the poster. We see right through you, it's really quite sad.

Why is that amusing?

But if you need an American source thats not a problem.

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."

Yes actually:

Militia Charged With Plotting to Murder Officers

In an indictment against the nine unsealed on Monday, the Justice Department said they were part of a group of apocalyptic Christian militants who were plotting to kill law enforcement officers in hopes of inciting an antigovernment uprising, the latest in a recent surge in right-wing militia activity.

Just how my sense of humor works. Was not trying to imply you where anything other than correct in this case, my first thought when I saw the comment you replied to was I could pull up dozens of examples without any problem.

This case is all the talk in Canada right now. Sentencing in Canada tends to be lax but even supporters of our justice system are shocked.

The defense team pleaded the case on the basis that the woman was a survivor form Chechnya with a lot of post traumatic stress, and that her daughter was an out of control teen who was using drugs and bragging about having a lot of sex. What a flimsy excuse for murder.

The Crown is appealing and there is a strong possibility the sentence will be carried out. I don't really see what else there is to this case. The mother strangled her daughter to death and isn't denying it. It's pretty straightforward. The judge in the case was off her rocker.

Its the same stupid prejudice as muslim mosques going up in American cities. Nobody cares except retarded faux news recipetents who think Muslims are naturally dangerous people.

The fact that she was a Muslim was completely irrelevant but it was used to catch people's attention to make a bull**** news story.

"If it bleeds it leads."

I've been on alot of political forums, about 4-5 of them for periods of 6 months to a year. You know what never suprises me? Its that on every single forum there's always alot of members who are extremely lazy with their arguments and they consistently think again and again that short, one liner responses coupled with annoying and sarcastic responses qualifies as a valid and logical argument. I won't bother to respond to any of your posts unless you put in the time and effort to make valid points instead of cheap political hackery.

Wow I'm sure no one else can even come close to those numbers.

Your own inability to read carefully before replying?

Yes but we can't stop you from posting so we must be tolerant.

Is this what you do when your own assumptions are so easily destroyed?

Geez....Are you seeking to make people that have a differing view feel bad for that view. People can be intolerant of lots of things, but it's how they act towards others that is the measure of their character.

That said...Do you believe that religion is the vehicle, not the source for violence and oppression. People choose to act on it or to ignore it?

The OP didn't mention religion at all. I realize some liberals here are ultra paranoid about some of the conservatives around here who have made posts in the past about being anti-Muslim, but this is ridiculous. By bringing it up first out of paranoia, you are no different than those that you criticize. I don't think religion has a single thing to do with this topic at all. The bottom line is that this woman strangled her daughter. I think we can all agree that it is outrageous that she won't be jailed for committing this horrible crime.
