If you read my post you will see that I blamed them both, "all". I am not afraid to criticize both parties, unlike some of the partisan hacks here.

To tell the truth I see little difference between bush and obama.

I like this line because while Bush was in office, many of his supporters used the "It's Clinton's fault" meme. The R changed to a D and then the meme changed as well. Now the one side that bitched about it uses it and the side that used it now bitches about it.
 
I have to agree with this, and is why I thanked your post. We replaced one idiot with another idiot. That is all we did in the last election.

Of course, then there are those of us who are consistent and think all the over the top rhetoric from either side is wrong. I can even drag out the posts of me defending both Bush and Cheney from stupid attacks to prove it.

What you have is a few on each side(very few), who make stupid, over the top comparisons, and then a few more who try and deflect it with the "but little Johnny did it first" stuff, and the rest of the population getting cynical about politics.

In another thread, I said I vote for who I think is best for the country. That may go against my own best interests. Socialism might help me financially, but it would be really bad for the country and generations to come. Everybody ends up poor when you start spreading the wealth around.
Obama is counting on everyone to vote for their own self interest. That's why he is trying to get more and more people dependent on government. The trouble is, what the government gives the government can take away.

I'm one of the ones who never went there. He was President Bush, and this is President Obama. I don't name call or denigrate; not in my private life and not our leader(s).
