i realize that.....it wasn't my point though. i expect that mr. v will respect the same actions form the "other side" in the future. like when the black panthers distances themselves from the actions of that idiot who talked about killing white babies.

I agree this is stupid as well. Perhaps Hatuey has equally strong archive posts when these same pictures and comparisons were perpetrated and shown during the Bush years.
 
If you are going to compare Obama with Hitler, the least you could do is start with eugenics.

Whatever floats your boat. It's in the OP btw, if you bothered to read it, of the rest of the TEA Party rejecting such behavior.

Oh, and you can revisit the thread only if the DNC comes out against... whatever incident is being discussed. Only way for the two sitautions to be even REMOTELY comparable.

I found this one especially amusing, because the actual quote is "Those who do not LEARN from history are doomed to repeat it".

THis one obviously didn't if he is equating health care with genocide. In fact, I would say that anybody who does is obviously too far gone to be much use to anybody.

The picture is distasteful, inflammatory and comes across as willfully ignorant.

The precedent for this kind of intellectually vapid behavior however, was set over the duration of the previous president's eight year tenure.

Older than that. However, that doesn't excuse it. If you believe it is wrong, you believe it is wrong. Period.
 
Don't people have the right to freedom of speech? It's obvious that you can't match Obama to Hitler, but to stay consistent an non hypocritical. What about all the attacks calling Bush the devil/Hitler/anything evil they could pull out of their butts? Maybe now that many on the left are irritated with conservatives linking Obama to Hitler, they will learn a lesson and not do the same to politicians that they happen to not agree with. There are many Hitlers in politics, yet none to my knowledge have murdered millions, were genocidal racists, or tried to takeover an entire continent.

Hitler got burned, right? That means his ashes spread into the atmosphere, absorbed by plants, animals, people. Any of us could have a little bit of Hitler inside of them right now.
 
Has there been a president since the end of World War II who wasn't compared to Hitler?
 
I just wish people would use something new instead of Hitler. It's not even annoying anymore, it's just old. Whenever Hitler comes up the first thing I think is that people need to diversify their knowledge of history, instead of only knowing about the one big world event of the 20th century.
