In Islam, when a so called radical group does something in accordance with their faith, Muslim faith.... like blow up a school bus full of Israeli children, the majority approves or at best are silent, which is in the final analysis just as understood or implied without being stated approval.

We should not make an exception for Islamic barbarism

The only barbarism being displayed are your and the other anti-Muslim comments. So far the intolerance in this thread from so called followers of Christianity is disgusting and anti-Jesus.

This is the stupidest post I have read so far in this thread.
And there has been ALOT of stupid posts on this topic.

    I just can't ...
Oh I do love these forums sometimes

Its nice to know prejudices are still alive even 9 years after an event where apparently all Muslims are being held responsible for it.
I'm assuming I can now hold all Americans responsible for every death that has occurred. Well great.
Because Americans have killed way more Muslims than the 3,000 we have apparently all killed.

That wasn't what you said, nor was it my point.

What are you advocating here, turning the other cheek?

A mosque would be a fitting tribute to the people who died that day, and it could be beautiful display of solidarity and unity if people would just let it. It's appalling how much hate this is stirring up, talk about "showing your true side," and the people who oppose the mosque are merely exposing their intolerance and xenophobia. What's truly scary is how many people feel that way.

Sounds right to me. What would Jesus do? He'd build a mosque on ground zero, that's what.

Nobody I know or have read is opposing the Mosque.... they are opposing the location of the Mosque, same as the people that want to build the Mosque would oppose a Catholic church in Mecca.

    Nice try for a strawman....

No way. Islam is illegal and immoral to our societal mores.
