You are so naive if you think there aren't Muslim men who act in unislamic ways in this world.

And yet I have disagreed with my Muslim neigbhor and many of his Muslim friends and yet no threats against me or my family have happened in the past 5 years. Care to admit that you are using gross generalizations or are you going to continue being a liar?

When they came first in Beruit,
BCR and others didn't speak up because they weren't in Beruit or Marines.

Then we they came to bomb the WTC,
BCR and others didn't speak up because it was only six KIA.

Then when they did Kenya and Tanzania,
BCR and others didn't speak up because it was a fringe minority.

    Then when 9-11 happened,
BCR and others didn't speak up because they didn't want to be labeled as bigots.

Then they came for BCR and his group,
and BCR and his group couldn't do anything because Sharia was the law of what was their land

The hijackers had more in common with abortion clinic bombers than the Cordoba Institute.

Others and I have beaten this notion to death in way too many Tea Party threads:
Wide dispersions on whole groups about the actions of a relative few are childish, pointless, and always wrong.

Yes, a horrible thing happened there. The mosques doesn't look like the smartest PR move in the world, but I think that we should all be able to tell the difference between a fist and an outstretched hand.

Gay marriage. You have never once supported going through the amendment process which would be the proper format. Instead you favor using the court system trying to bypass the Constitution

Thank you for playing and you can apologize at any time

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Ah the height of arrogance and ignorance. If it doesn't happen to you personally then it doesn't exist. Sad but predictable.

Ya this Mosque is a clear fist, they have every right to build it, but ask yourself one thing, why are they having the ground breaking ceremony on 9-11 of all days? Give me a ****ing break, these people need to be protested day in and day out until they decide to build their little temple to oppression somewhere the **** else.

It's not going to happen anyway, this now looks like a big show over nothing, promoted by liberals that want to show their tolerance toward those that would slit their throats.

According to reports the site is a Landmark site, and has been for over two decades.

Elisabeth de Bourbon, a spokeswoman for the Landmarks Preservation Commission, said a hearing is scheduled to determine the historic status of the building that is currently on the site.

If the 152-year-old Burlington Coat Factory building at 45 Park Place is determined to have landmark status, that designation would mean the building cannot be torn down to make way for the Islamic cultural center.

They'll go back now and tell the Imam that due to this designation he can not build there. And liberals will have yet one more totally disingenuous talking point in which to smear Conservatives as racists with....Ho Hum....This really gets tiring.
