Come on guys, this isn't about Islam vs. Christianity, which is what alot of threads are turning into.

The issue at hand is the construction of this community centre with a mosque inside.

The law allows them to build this place without hindrance. Emotions of people says they shouldn't. Public opinion says they shouldn't.

There's no winning, there will be no compromise here.

    "atheistic attempts" lol

I just reject your delusion and picture that Islam is all blood and violence and Christianity is all light and peace.

But sure if you want to continue with me putting you down on your pathetically limited knowledge of Islam. Let's continue.
What misinformation and lie do you want to spread now?

I have no issue with the Mosque as long as it goes through the proper building authorities.

If the planning is delayed or halted because of peoples emotive reaction, I think they should be allocated another piece of land by NY to build the Mosque.

Didn't, the Swiss voters overwhelmingly approve a constitutional ban on minarets last year or something?

Tell me, Mister Jetboogieman... Are there any problems building a Christian Cathedral or a Jewish Synagogue in a Muslim nation? When they say no problem, then I won't be able to object to Mosques. When Christian missionaries have free access to preach and proselytize, and converts aren't slaughtered, then I'll consider allowing freedom of religion to include Islam.

There are many Churches and Synagogues in Muslim countries.
Some of the oldest in the world are in *shock horror* Muslim countries

It's fairly radical itself and is filled with many horrific stories of rape and slaughter. You guys choose to ignore those verses but that doesn't change the fact they are there.

The funny thing is both religions are extremely improbable to be true but you guys continue to argue over who is right and what not. My God has a bigger penis than yours!!!!
Yeah, right ... because it is so wrong to respond to the invasions by a religion that had been on the offensive against Christianity for nearly five centuries!!! GOOD GRIEF!!!
