Sorry, I have no time to teach you on the differences. Next time you might want to know what you're actually talking about before Jet has to correct you before me

Have a good night and sleep tight.

And as always, thanks for the laughs

I never made any comment on any differences so I don't know what thread you think you're reading.

For those attempting to compare the Old Testament with the Quran, there is a problem - the New Testament.

Please don't go there because, you will get hammered

There is a reason why we identify our enemy with thier ideology. The enemies ideology is what motivates them to wage war. One of the definitions of jihad is holy war. So we identify them as Islamic extremist because that is what they are.

    New Testament.

    1 Thessalonians
    1. God is planning a messy, mass murder in "the wrath to come" and only Jesus can save you from it. 1:10

    2. Christians shouldn't mourn the death of their fellow believers. They'll be OK and you'll see them later in heaven. The people you should mourn are dead nonbelievers. They have no hope (because they're going to hell). 4:13

Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn't the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament.
    5:17

Jesus recommends that to avoid sin we cut off our hands and pluck out our eyes. This advice is given immediately after he says that anyone who looks with lust at any women commits adultery.

Jesus sends some devils into a herd of pigs, causing them to run off a cliff and drown in the waters below. 8:32

You have no clue about scripture. You should stop before you make yourself look even more uneducated.

    1 Thessalonians
    1 Paul, Silas and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
    Grace and peace to you.

    Thanksgiving for the Thessalonians' Faith

2 We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. 3 We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. 6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. 7 And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. 8 The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it, 9 for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

Please point out how "1. God is planning a messy, mass murder in "the wrath to come" and only Jesus can save you from it. 1:10" equates to anything in this thread? It dos not as it is not telling anyone to kill unbelievers. In fact it is saying God will punish those who transgress in the end not mankind.

Ummmm... So people who do not believe are going to hell and we should mourn them? You have got to be ****ing kidding me? That is the best you could come up with?

This has nothing to do with the thread or anything asked of you about radical Islam. Still no sign of Jesus telling Christians to go out and convert via the sword.

Ummm so what? He approves of the law of the father passed down to the Israelites. That was the old covenant that was necessary in it's day. With the death of Jesus all the prophecy's were fulfilled and the old law passed away.

So no, it does not apply.

If you knew even the slightest bit about Christianity you would have known this. Of course cutting and pasting from the Internet fragments you know nothing about is easier, right?

Darn that old Jesus speaking figuratively about the wages of sin. Darn him!

Oh no! Jesus killed some pigs! Oh my goodness! Wait, don't we slaughter pigs by the millions every day to eat them?

You know if you actually asked a Christian what we believe, you would not come off as ignorant.

I mean if the "skeptics Bible" web site thinks everything said in the Bible is literal, they are pretty stupid and not a good choice to learn from.
