So do nothing is the best for Arizona and the US? I do agree the courts need to jump in sooner than later. I also would like the see the Feds enforce the laws the US has on the books.

I was surprised to see just how overwhelming the support for Arizona is in America.

I knew the majority was on their side. But I had no idea how many. Mind boggling to see so many Americans agreeing on something, anything, to an almosyt unanimous degree. Screw California. Maybe 96% of the population, that seem to support Arizona, should boycott California. Or maybe America should just give California back to Mexico.

msnbc.com U.S. & World News - Do you support Arizona's tough new law on illegal immigration?

Nah, it's where all the crazy people go to live (albeit in only certain areas), and we wouldn't want to remove such an excellent asylum from easy access.

Plus, there are occasionally some entertaining productions that arise from those same areas, and we all like entertainment.

Sorry Mark, I all ready decimated his ignorance on the subject, Orion won't return to this thread, ever again.

What AZ needs to do is say all or nothing, no partial boycotts.

Hehe, it doesn't work like that, but that would be funny to see them bar companies from doing business with cities that had partial boycotts..

Kind of reminds me of the PATRIOT Act in that as soon as they fabricate a terrorism accusation, your rights go out the window.

People should be opposed to the Arizona law because of this. However, people are sheep and if it supports their pet causes they will gladly let rights be trampled on. Same thing with the recent SCOTUS ruling that lets the Fed extent detention to an indefinite period if you are a "dangerous" sex offender, and without trial by peers.

At least read the law before making comments like this, PLEASE. You are absolutley, positively, dead WRONG on this interpretation of the law. READ IT.

Edit. Sorry Mr. Vic, I came late to this thread, do carry on with your desimation of the libbys.

I read an article on Yahoo News about a week ago where California was finding it very hard to boycott Arizona due to almost half of the electricity California uses comes from Arizona. The article was from the Arizona electric company's president telling California and other states that if they really want to boycott Arizona and it's businesses the electric company would be more than happy to help them with their boycott.

What else can be said? The City Commission in San Francisco thought that Arizona was a Nothing State containing mostly ramshackle houses and mud huts with a few Industries that that could simply be flipped off and found that Arizona had more pull than they expected.
