I don't bother voting because the vast majority of elections in the United States are conducted on electronic voting machines with no paper trail or audit function and are vulnerable to remote automated attack.

In other words, I don't bother voting because we don't have elections in which to vote.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

I'm really at a loss why anyone would object to showing ID to a police officer who requests it. You should always have some form of ID on you. And yes that includes when you are running, biking, walking whatever.

Obama should refuse to go or send US representatives and the rest of the USA should boycott Canada. I am certain Obama will be sending the democrats out en masse to protest this horrible unconstitutional violation of individuals rights...

Right, as if capitalists on either side of the isle have, as a group, ever given a flying **** about the human rights record of their trading partners.

Not comparable in the slightest, one enters into a voluntary contract to board a plane, if one of the stipulations of that contract is that you must provide evidence of your identity and/or submit to a search before you board the plane then you have a choice, you can either provide the I.D. and submit to said search and board the plane or you can turn around and go home, that's completely different than making it legal for a man with a gun to walk up to you on the street, then demand to know your name, address, social security number etc, and who if you refuse to comply blasts you in the face with pepper spray, ties your hands behind your back, throws you into the back of his car, drives you to a building, and throws you into a cage.

They aren't capitalists they're state capitalists IE socialists, fascists, corporatists, or any other "ist" which you can think of which only is a ruse of sub-groups for the overarching group of collectivists.

Isn't it weird how conservatives tend to completely flip their views on personal liberties when it comes to law enforcement issues?

Seriously, we have people supporting a secret law.

Yep. The police and state authority always seem to get a free pass with them, yet they complain about liberals who want to regulate their personal lives.

Maybe if people on both sides could withhold their desire to control others we wouldn't have a government that is constantly vying for more control of everyone.

Ya unlike liberals who are adamantly opposed to the ATF and IRS CID who by their very existence violate the rights of every single citizen every single day.
