Folks, put everything else aside, just what do you think would happen if Mexican and US Agents got into a shoot out? Hmmm? That's bad mmmkay? B-A-D.
How many times have you said we shouldnt just threaten to kill, but just outright kill, Mexicans attempting to cross the border. Note: thats attempting, not already have. I'm seeing a big double standard for border control among some people here.

What we don't know is did the Border Patrol inform Mexican authorities of what they are trying to do. If not, the Mexican authorities were acting within their rights -- even if they overdid it. After all, it wasn't as if some ununiformed kid was throwing rocks... we are talking about uniformed law enforcement personel here. Yes, this definately underscores the tension. However, the tension largely comes from the large number of illegal immigrants from the southern side into the U.S. and the fact that many on the other side of the border seem to think that violating U.S. law is not a big deal.

Of course, if Mexico REALLY wants a second Mexican War, bring it on. Personally, I would prefer another match-up in the World Cup again so we can see the U.S. school once again one of the dirtiest teams in world football...

Actually it would be. But of course you not seeing the context here. Most of your post is just nonsensical mouthfoaming.

While not completely on topic, there was nothing "anti-semitic" about that signature. Claiming so is just plain stupid. So instead of going off on people about perceived antisemitism how about we just address posts instead.

The Mexicans were right to prevent armed foreigners, who had already shot and killed a Mexican national on Mexican soil, from crossing their border.

They would have been right to shoot them if they had pressed the issue. In fact, since the US border patrol actually shot someone who was on the Mexican side of the border that was not armed with any type of legitimate weapon, they need to be prosecuted. That is an act of war.

I was being sarcastic - I should have stated that.

If the original guy who started this entire series of events just backed off when rocks were thrown at him we wouldn't even be IN this pickle. So obviously lethal-force in response to rock throwing isn't always the acceptable norm.

Yes, acts of war and murder that we have kindly overlooked. If they want to play hardball, maybe we should send our real military down there, so the Mexican troops can pull their pistolas out on a real army, and see how that works out for them.

Just because we failed to react to those situations correctly, doesn't mean they shouldn't react to ours correctly.

Also, how many US nationals died in those instances?

    Can of WORMS.

If the US government had gone about this border protection the RIGHT WAY all along - NONE of this crap would be going on.
But, instead, they turned a blind eye for decades and here we are - the pot is finally boiling over.

It will be interesting yet frightening to see how Obama handles this situation and just what it will continue to escalate into.

    Where is the double standard?

Illegals attempting to break the law....

Law Enforcement being threatened with death by Mexican Authorities....

The problem is with you, and your understanding of the issue and things said about it, not with anything I have said.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.
