Mexico teen killed by US Border Patrol, anger high

That'll teach'em to throw rocks at the border patrol.

Oh, knock off the ridiculous partisan hackery. You say this often, yet it is meaningless and pointless each time you do.

And as to the thread title. The border patrol officers acted professionally and appropriately. They were attacked and responded. I suppose if the kids didn't want to get hurt, they should not have tried to illegally enter the US and attack border patrol officers with rocks. Completely the responsibility of the kids.

batting .500 would make you a hall of fame baseball player

I wonder what people on here would have said if a 15 year old american white kid threw stones at a Mexican Border patrol officer... and they had shot him.

I would wonder type of coffin the kid would want.

I posted a thread sometime back on rock throwing at border patrol agents. This is something they deal with almost every day and it has been going on for years. This madness has got to stop. When is our government going to take the security of our borders seriously?

Lethal force isn't the appropriate response to rock throwing.

How do you know? If the rocks thrown were big or numerous enough to cause me physical harm, I'd have shot back. Throwing a pebble, no. I'd rather hear the whole story before making my judgment call.

The report is that two perps were in the process of being apprehended when the rest of the posse decided to start hurling the rocks.

Maybe the BP agents deserve credit for only icing one of the ****s.....??

.

I didn't realize they had already concluded the use of lethal force review and ruled the shooting justified. Do you have link for that?

I was responding with my opinion. I think you are quite aware that the review has not come out yet.

No, they should have killed several, then shot the Federales who showed up and started pointing rifles. We need to quit fracking around, take control of our border, and make it ****ing clear to Mexico who is in charge of this situation.

You are absolutely right, Why is our Border Patrol backing down from Mexican Federales. Oh btw I heard on CNN that the 15 year old kid was actually a coyote (human smuggler)

Obama ought to be telling the Mexican president that if his people can't play nice with our border patrol, that he can send down the US military take care of this problem.

Yeah, too bad hes doing the total opposite and siding with the mexican prez basically calling boarder enforcement a racist action.

.

And a new twist. Demanding extradition of the BP Agent. Good luck with that one, Pedro....

"EL PASO, Texas — Mexico condemned the shooting of a 15-year-old boy by a U.S. Border Patrol agent Thursday through diplomatic correspondence and an angry phone call to the Homeland Security secretary. Some Mexican politicians called for the agent's extradition to face Mexican justice."

Kind of miss the old days when this country had balls.
In 1915, Patton became involved in the U.S. endeavor to capture the Mexican rebel Francisco “Poncho” Villa, where he killed Poncho Villa’s chief body guard, Julio Cardenas, and was assigned as an aide to General John J. Pershing during this campaign.

And for all the folks who think the border patrol agent just have just allowed deadly objects be thrown at him without repercussion, his shooting of the little bastard was well within the law.

SAN DIEGO — The U.S. Department of Justice has cleared a Border Patrol agent of any wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of a suspected smuggler whose death two years ago focused attention on increasing violence at the California-Mexico border.

The 18-year-old who died, Guillermo Martinez Rodriguez, was allegedly throwing rocks at the agent, who shot him in the upper back on a dangerous stretch of the San Diego-Tijuana border in December 2005.

So lets quit the BS talk that what he did wasn't within the law. It was.

I guess we'll be seeing Tucker admit he's been wrong now.

What side of the border was that guy on when he was shot?

If you still don't know what my argument was, you aren't equipped to say that I'd have to admit I was wrong.

Oh, snap!

From the article:

The agent, an eight-year veteran at the time, encountered Martinez holding a ladder near the secondary border fence inside the California border.

Still no evidence to prove my point wrong.

Was he throwing rocks? Yes

Was he shot? Yes

Did the court uphold that shooting a rock thrower by the border patrol was a sufficient use of force? Yes

You were wrong Tucker. Its really sad to see you pretending you aren't when its so obvious.

I don't know if the video has been posted but here it is:
