yes, one of the bluest districts in the nation was split leading to an anomolous gop win

    but why did it split?

and, so far, at least, reconciliation is not near

    maybe they should DEEM it

either way, hawaii one moved TWELVE POINTS my way since barry became our boy

    it is what it is

    congrats, mr djou

oh, yeah, do you guys know neil abercrombie, the chubby, bearded 20 year regular on cable

his quitting and going for gub is what opened this seat in the first place

neil has been running suprisingly weak in his PRIMARY contest vs honolulu mayor mufi hannemann

    he's well below 50

    honolulu will be blue

but there's something going on in the pineapple's people's party, a plethora of dispute, it appears

AND WASHINGTON BETTER STAY THE HECK OUT

    party on?
Is this like your prediction where th Health Care bill wouldn't pass or the one in Murtha's district would lose? Your predictions aren't doing to well.

This Republican (Djou) campaigned as a traditional fiscal conservative who decried the Democrats' new health care legislation, the 2009 Obama administration stimulus package, and the very idea of new taxes to pay for any of it.
Hawaii Sends Charles Djou to Congress, First Republican in 20 Years

Also, it is interesting to note that such a fiscal conservative won 40% of the vote in a district Obama won 70% of the vote in 2008. So there has been an increase of people in Hawaii voting Republican since 2008...maybe because they don't like what they have been seeing it our current President.

Yes, the GOP can get less than 40% of the votes in any district. I'm shaking, NP, shaking I tell you!

What he says and what he will do are two different things. In liberal states republican is not republican=conservative, its more republican=liberal.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
