Usually true. However, with all the press on this disaster, if it were true there should be proof of it... somewhere. And for someone to make such a "negative" accusation he must surely have some morsel of evidence to support his claim. Wouldn't ya think?

I'm blaming everyone. From the last 3 prez. To bp, to failed rules toow them to drill. To everyone and everything involved. You sir are making a fool of yourself with you partisan hack mouth foaming deflecting any and all non responses from your god king.

    Carry on privates.

Actually i was discharged honorably as an E6 or a technical-seargent in the USAF, 1c471.

Refering to me as a "private" especially this week is rather disrespectful of you but expected from the likes of you.

Ahh, philosophy...I'd love to get into a class like that, it'd drive my X nuts. She already hates it when I "go into debate mode" whenever we talk about anything more serious than the weather.

Of course, that's just the military. We've also got the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard, the Department of the Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Small Business Administration, the Department of Defense, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health all doing "nothing."

Tell you what, since you have all the answers and insist our government is doing "nothing" about this oil spill, why don't you tell us what it should be doing.

And I'd like specific actions you want the government to take that (a) have some basis in reality and (b) aren't being done already.

    Ok. Go.
Why is it taking so long for the corps of engineers to approve Uncle Bobby's dredging plan? Since the government is doing such a bang up job.

You mean the inaction of the mayor and governor who ignored what the president told them.

    Ok. Go.
That was a month ago and now the EPA complains the chemical is to harsh. Then we have this.

BP Oil Spill: Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal Asks for More Help - ABC News

As thick oil flows into the sensitive marshes of the Louisiana coast, Gov. Bobby Jindal called on the White House and BP today to either stop the oil spill or get out of his way.
Gov. Bobby Jindal warns BP and the White House to help or get out of his way.

Jindal is still waiting for the federal government to provide millions of feet in boom and to approve an emergency permit for a state plan to dredge and build new barrier islands to keep the oil from reaching the marshes and wetlands.

Jindal is so desperate for the islands, he's said he'll build them even if it sends him to jail.

"We've been frustrated with the disjointed effort to date that has too often meant too little, too late for the oil hitting our coast," Jindal said.

As usual, your reading comp is out of whack. I've been spreading the blame around. However, BP lovers, like you, blindly defend BP because you know the blame goes right thru Bush and Cheeney, your heroes.

No the blame game goes through both state capitalists in the Federal Government and BP who have a symbiotic relationship in that $13 billion in royalties is payed to the Minerals Management Service of the Department of the Interior by the off shore drillers for the privilege to lease the offshore land claimed by the Federal Government and in return for that and campaign contributions the oil drillers are awarded legislation which grants them a $75 million liability cap. The offshore land needs to be homesteaded by the oil firms and they need to assume full liability for accidents.
