D00d lied about his service. He's pretty much a fraud who deserves a punch in the mouth. Bush didn't lie about his service, and yet you want to compare the two?

    Shameful.
So true! It shameful that this candidate lied about his service, but I recalled correctly here didn't Bush say he served six year instead of four years? He got mixed up with how many years he served, but I wouldn't count that as lying about where he served. I served 9 years, I often say 8, for some reason, my enlistment, is what's stuck in my head, not actual time.

I don't think Bush was being malicious as this d00d was, I think he just possibly got it mixed up. There is no benefit to lying about 2 additional years of service.

Now if he claimed we was an army seal who flew a-10's for the marines, that would be something.

I agree that, if he claimed he was was an army it would be something. Yeap I agree that he possibly got mixed up. One of my teachers at school still is in the cost guard he was the wood shop teacher.

Hilarious after all this time people still bring Bush in to the conversation.

I hope you realize how foolish it makes you look to do a comparison like this.

How about addressing the actual situation?
"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country." -Jefferson

Sure its careless. Your issue tucker is you don't have the "hyper partisans rulebook: Liberal Edition".

If you did it'd be clear.

See, it clearly denotes that if a Democrat lies about information repeatedly he is simply being "careless" and should never be refered to as anything but as you attempt to defend and excuse it and shift blame.

However, if a Republican did something that is even a fraction similar to that then they should be called a liar and be dubbed a juvenile name as if you are still partaking in recess at elementary school.

Its really not that hard to understand Tuck, come on now

Re: Blumenthal's words on Vietnam Service differ from History

blumenthal's boneheadedness probably puts this seat in play

it just might turn out to be the chair that gives control of upper house to the gop

florida has been switched back to the red column after rubio opened up his 8 point lead over crist

we're gonna take evan bayh's seat in indiana, byron dorgan's in dakota, ms lincoln's in arkansas...

    low hanging fruit, easy pickings

we're very strong in illinois---that's OBAMA'S SEAT (cuz giannoulias is a mafioso with a bankrupt bank)

BIDEN's delaware is in a big red bag

the MAJORITY LEADER's in nevada---no problem

specter's in pennsylvania---if admiral sestak wins today he will give the tea partier toomey more trouble, if benedict arlen holds on the keystone is MINE

michael bennett in colorado---he was APPOINTED, not elected, he was moved up from supt of DENVER SCHOOLS to replace SALAZAR (who's having BIG troubles in congress today) who was promoted to interior

mr bennett has major problems, aside from his never having won his seat

he's way too san francisco for the mainstream western dems that made the rocky mountains such a huge blue pickup last time

one time superstar governor bill ritter has announced HIS resignation

bennett was leapfrogged from nowhere ahead of the state's careerist dems, there's much resentment

and a PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUPT---i mean, what would you expect?

way out, man, way too obama for toyota tacoma territory

that's EIGHT---indiana, north dakota, illinois, delaware, nevada, pennsylvania, colorado, arkansas

we need TEN to take over

(but coming close is gonna be just as good, obama's entire agenda will become irrelevant, his tiny majority intimidated by the groundswell)

dead dodd's seat gets us scarily close

we still have barbara boxer who's beatable, patty murray in washington, russ feingold in wisconsin...

    worry
