Since corporations are now considered people why not put some of the oil exexs in prison and confiscate their personal property much like we do to drug king pins?

Hell, why stop there, just jail anyone making over $250K per year, owning a business, and have the state cease that business in the name of redistribution....Sound good?

These people have a lifestyle that would not exist but for corporations and thus who run them. When I hear someone whining about corporations in general it usually means we are dealig with a cubicle bunny or an AFSCME type employee who is mad that his income does not match what he thinks his IQ entitles him to.

Any of them guilty of creating and lying about one of the largest and most devastating ecological disasters in our nation's history, sure, and throw away the key.

Is there no damage to our planet large enough to appear on some peoples radar?

Don't kid yourself. No one is going to jail, as much as some Bolsheviks here today would applaud that. Is it a disaster that this happened, of course it is. Is it the norm in oil exploration, or extraction? NO.

This country as well as the industrialized world runs on oil, and many products used in modern life are petroleum based. So, by all means keep up the demonization of the product that you and the other libs in here railing against use on a daily basis, thus causing prices across the board, and not just for gas that my giant 4x4 uses, but for everything from the bread you buy at the store, to the damned computer you are foolishly typing on right now goes through the roof.

Then see what your windmill tilting gets you.

How much rain falls on the earth on any given day?

Now imagine if 50% of all that rain falls on your city rather then the rest of the world, is your city going to have a problem.

The problem is not that oil is going into the ocean, the problem is that is concentrated in one geographic location

You really think the Deepwater spill represents half of all the oil naturally leaked into the ocean? Seriously?
