I just think its ironic that you called to "Thank" them for something that they don't even support. They must have realized that you didn't know what you were talking about when you called.

Yeah, yeah. Small percent though. All you have to look at the Mayor of Phoenix. He supports illegals.

Lies. I support Arizona's law. Don't speak for all of us.

Of course, not every person living here is going to be against the law. (Just the smart ones. [I jest moderately])

I've lived in L.A. my entire life...After many visits to Chicago and New York City, I have mixed feelings about the greatness of Los Angeles. You can't beat the weather and the unique SoCal culture, food, lifestyle (Sand to Snow in 2 hours)... But the layout of the city creates an emotional detachment, lacking a center, and the shallowness of the entertainment business hurts the character of the city.

IMO - Chicago and New York City are as diverse as L.A. if not more so.

Believe it or not, there was a time when the 405 actually moved and getting to the West Side only took 30 minutes, door-to-door.

The planning department has choked this city to death. It doesn't allow us to grow.

Actually, I don't really care. I only hope AZ boycotts SD, and other cities.
So you support other States having a say on how CA/LA is governed?

Re: Los Angeles to boycott Arizona over immigration law

Oddly enough.... After speaking with LAPD... I had a VERY warm reception and not only sent a email with info they didnt know about

"I cannot go to Arizona today without a passport," Councilman Ed Reyes said before the vote. "If I come across an officer who's had a bad day and feels the picture on my ID is not me, I could be summarily deported -- no questions asked. That is not American."
but other things too like the nut job regarding the La Raza terrorists.

Well let's see...when they already have city attorneys wasting their time figuring out how to get out of contracts and they make decisions based on their opposition rather than good business sense I don't see how they can NOT affect us economically.

I think its important for our city to take a moral stand against this law.
I think it's important for us to take a stand and support this law.

We should be keeping our money here in Los Angeles, or at least in California, rather than doing business with states that don't uphold our moral values.
And I think we should be spending our money wisely rather than fighting another state for actually trying to uphold the rule of law.
