Not true. If you are an immigrant you are required by federal law to carry your green slip at all times. If you are driving you are required to carry a drivers license. And if you are stopped for some other criminal activity you can bet the first thing that will happen, hispanic or not, is that you will be asked to produce ID.

And all of this ignores the lie of the lefts primary argument...let the federal government (INS) do this...and guess what the INS does...the same damn thing.

No...what this REALLY is is a bunch of people pissed that the LAW which has gone ignored for so long, is about to actually be ENFORCED...by SOMEONE...

Why? Even if their decision was not based on the AZ bashing, it looks like they moved to avoid the issue. They claim they moved it to Florida because it is a swing state. Didn't the GOP have it in NYC in 2004. Isn't NYC a Dem strong hold, not a swing state?

    I don't know, hmmmm?
Non issue. You even misled in your post. The convention was not "moved". It was never given to Phoenix and then reassigned. Tampa is a good choice. Nice city, swing state... Right choice...

Setting aside the oddity of the idea, my mind was blown by this:

How stupid can you be? If you don't understand how the bill works, maybe you shouldn't be voting on whether to boycott an entire state over it.
Well, considering its L.A. and L.A. is in California, they can get real stupid, real quick.

Any wonder why California is in the condition it is in?

Non-citizens most certainly ARE required to carry their papers with them. And citizens are required to have ID for countless transactions. If you do something illegal, citizen or not, you're going to be required to identify yourself to the officers. Simple as. This is not anything new

I'll be in Phoenix twice as often now just to try to make up for the *****(insert any vulgar noun here) in this city.

I wish that I didn't need an ID when I got a ticket. They could never send me the fine. Oh, that would be beautiful.

It is stupefying how this is being made into something so extreme, when the rest of us have been living by it all of our lives.

That's why 73 percent of Americans support the bill. The other 27 percent must have warrants out for their arrest.
