What does a thread on a stupid reality show have to do with the apocalypse? :shock: Are you people on PCPs or something?

For the record, just 100 years ago in the United States, pedophile marriages were legal and socially acceptable (10 year old virgin girls could be arranged in marriage to adult men - meaning they had no say).

Oh and hard drugs like heroin and cocaine were legal for children and babies could be bought over the counter at drug stores. Need to hear more horror stories from society's past?

So you people bytch about a stupid satire TV show "promoting rape" and act like that's the worst thing ever, but you (apparently) don't think legalized pedophilia and hard drugs being sold to children in the early 1990s was that big a deal.

Imagine if someone today proposed making it legal to marry a 10 year old, or making it legal for parents to give their babies heroin as a sleep aid? You guys'd flip out! And the worst you can come up now is a TV show. :rofl

So much for society's "downfall". We've come along way from the days where shows like this were the only societal norm. So be grateful for what you've got. Peace out. :doh

Depends on how it is worded. Things are never as they seem. For example, a wife packs a lunch consisting of beef stroganoff, along with a banana and some trail mix for desert, for her husband. However, on reading the note she put on the lunch bag, you might think it is for something else.
