First Amendment to the United States Constitution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (just for the wording)

Did congress pass a law dictating that people must Pray? No, so there is no "Church and State" issue here.

And the right of people to have a group prayer is Free Speech, Right of Assembly...

Could you please show me where in the Constitution the "right to not be offended/disturbed by others exercising their rights" is... I cannot seem to find it.

I don't see in the article where any senior complained, where someone was offended that was at the meal.
Yawn not at all what I was talking about.

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. " (Romans 10:13-17)

Both of those are talking about individual acts, not state sponsored activities.

If they or anyone wants to offer religious or non religous blessing before eating a meal, ensure that it is not a government supplied one and no one will be able to stop you from praying at the top of your lungs (excepting for noise bylaws )

OF course it was, you just have no answer for it.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Offering a prayer before a meal is now a "state sponsored" activity? How so? The Government supplements the cost of the meal, not who prepares it or delivers it....

This is the problem with liberals that are against any form of religion in the square. You think that because there is a monetary supplement to the meals offered to seniors, that it entitles you to tell them HOW they must accept it.

    WRONG!

No it was not what I was talking about it what you want to talk about so that you can impose your belief system on others.

I was talking about being polite and considerate of others.

Why do the prayee's have to be polite and considerate? You say that as if their actions are somehow offensive and shameful.

What about those that wish to pray and are offended they are being forced to do so silently?

I think it's more considerate to let them have their prayer and just sit silently.

Then I guess they will have to hear my prayer to Satan. Oh wait I'm actually polite and considerate of others.
