The troops in the middle east should be compensated more than the clerk types back in the pentagon.
That is definitely a fair proposal, in my opinion.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

    Why?

If they were concerned about the fact it is a dangerous job and they were not being compensated enough for that level of danger they should not have signed up. They shoiuld have become a clerk in an office if they were concerned about the danger

I am guessing you never served in the military? It isn't like you get to pick and choose your specialty, or duty stations......
    Some do, but most don't....
