So Schumer wants Arizona to delay its law until congress can act? Who here finds that hilarious? I wonder is Schumer said that with a straight face? Was he laughing, smirking or crossing his fingers behind his back when he said that?

If those in office did their jobs instead of tossing the salad of pro-illegal scum Arizona would not have their anti-illegal immigration laws.

Ariz. governor rejects delay of immigration law - Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON – A prominent Senate Democrat asked Republican Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to put off her state's controversial immigration law to give Congress a chance to act. Scant time passed before Brewer's answer came back: No.

Good for her. Arizona has been waiting for YEARS for the federal government to do something. The feds have shown an utter lack of faith on this issue. What makes Schumer or any other pro-illegal think that Arizona should wait any longer for the feds to do something it WON'T do anytime soon and should have done long ago?

Perhaps he thinks the people of Arizona elected an idiot who would fall for anything.

Nothing Chucky does surprises me. He's a long time politician looking for his 15 min and feeding his lapdogs some blue meat.

Yea for AZ. All we have gotten is words. How hard would it be for Congress or the President to act to control the borders as a first step. Have we seen anyone from Obama's cabinet come to AZ to look at the issue? While McCain/Kyle say they have a 10 point plan. It is words, we want action now.

AZ has asked for help. So instead of boycotts, other States try demanding the Feds do something now. Obama adminstration, show some leadership and deal with this illegal issue now. Seems the other States or the Feds have the stomach for it. AZ does.

They did before ... their former governor...

I wouldn't say she was an idiot. I think she was just another proillegal like McCain who said they were against illegal immigration but did everything they can to undermined any efforts to curb illegal immigration. Schumer must have thought Brewer was Stupak's sister.

The Obama administration is the last thing I want to handle the illegal immigration problem and I trust McCain to handle it as far as I can throw my best friend(he is over 350 pounds,so I couldn't throw him far). Those people would end up making it worse just like Reagan did. I would rather that the federal government not do **** about it now until there are actually people in office who are not pro-illegals. Better the states handle it for now than for the federal government to make it worse with another so-called immigration reform compromise that just mean more amnesty will hallow promises of enforcement. Laws similar to Arizona and Oklahoma's along with enforcement are the answer for now and in the long run will make amnesty have a snowballs chance in hell.

It's time to inact this law, so it can start working and shut the Liberals up about it.

I agree. Just have the Feds give the States some dollars. We can use the National Guard.
