And, no, for your information, I don't assume that anything I disagree with is a liberal's fault. Stick to the topic. Liberals are the ones who bring lawsuits (often through the ACLU) to protect the rights of everyone to free speech, even when they disagree with the speech. This is a perfect example of the kinds of cases the liberals have fought many times.

If you think that any prominent liberals or liberal groups - or even a majority of liberal people -- are supporting this principal*, then please provide some evidence. All I have seen is the exact opposite.


* there are always extremists on either side, so I know there will be some liberals who support the principal, just like there may be some conservatives who support the principal because he has to maintain order or something ...

Ridiculous is lining the streets celebrating your 'liberation' while your best and brightest are working in my ****ing garden and cleaning toilets at the mall. Ridiculous is saying stupid **** like "we should be proud to have them here doing jobs no Americans would do" and "We sould be happy to have them here working for wages no American would work for." Ridiculous is bitching and moaning about having America take over parts of 'your' country 200 plus years ago...especially in light of the fact that...oh yeah...Mexico was also formed by conquest. Ridiculous is thinking we can continue to support 20-30 million people working for criminally below average wages, without paying taxes, and while sending billions back into Mexico to support their families and think it wont have significant economic impact. ridiculous is perpetuation of a failed immigration system for yet another few decades.

And believe me...I think ALL hypnenated Americans are idiots...especially in light of the fact that MOST of them couldnt identify their 'homeland' on a map.

You have to understand the Mexicans that leave the country and go to the US are the losers of society.

They can't make a living and they think the streets are lined with gold.

The Mexicans think any American is rich, and by the standard of living in Mexico they are right.

Obviously you haven't been to Mexico or if you did your eyes were closed.

It is not a socialist country nor is it a ****hole like you said before.

You don't see attorneys or doctors crossing the border, just the losers that can't find work because they like to drink beer more than to work.

There are just as many opportunities in Mexico as the states if you are willing to work.

The day workers demanding $20.00 an hour to manual labor is rediculous but people pay it.

So you think anybody "stuck" in Mexico is a poor bastard?

How many people actually crossed the border do you think?

Let us not count their offspring but how many actually left Mexico and entered the US.

Maybe 5 million over the years? Let's say 10 million.

There are more people than that in el Distrito Federal. One city. There are a whole lot more cities with millions of people.

So your perception is that the whole citizenry of Mexico want to cross the border to enter the US illegally.

I don't know anybody that wants to go to the US from where I am.

Like I said you have the losers that can't make it here. Good riddence to them.
 
I guess you're Mexican because you seem to think the world revolves around Mexico. I meant ALL who risk life and limb to come here, including Cubans, mexicans, etc. People don't ride 90 miles across an ocean in a plastic barrel to come here if their country is so wonderful.

Actually my experience with them is quite the opposite. These are the industrious hard working driven to succeed 'middle class' of Mexico. They arent willing to sit back and let their families go hungry and they werent fortunate enough to be born into extremely wealthy families. And they ARE INDEED smart...hard working...creative. If it were possible? Hell...Id invite all 20-30 million of them to stay permanently and send 20-30 million of our crippled dependent pets to Mexico.

Now...I'll grant you...thats just my experience. And having spent better than 10 years at places all around the world I'm the last person to say Gee...wouldnt it be swell if ALL countries were just like us.

That being said...there is obvious lie to your post. 20-30 million ILLEGAL immigrants. Who KNOWS how many legal and naturalized or American born children of illegal immigrants...all here...and you think they left everything...risked everything...because THEY are the wretched refuse? I dont know how we would prove it, but Id' put money against your argument.

We had guys wear confederate flags on campus to make a statement against african americans. This is in the south, where it's about a 50/50 split no less. It ended up in a 20 person brawl.

Principles have the right to keep their student body in check, including doing stupid things to possibly prevent *really* stupid things. It's their call.

That's what happened with me yesterday. I was talking to Reverend about it. I came to work all ready for a cultural event, ready to embrace diversity and tolerance and all I got out of my mexican coworkers was a snort and a "What? You wanna go to taco bell or something?"

They did leave pinata in my chair for me this morning, though.
