Then the issue is...why aren't Latino parents teaching their kids to ignore stupid-heads? This is an important skill in America.

You see it all the time on forums, too, people who've never learned to ignore stupidity and feel that they have to rise to the bait everytime someone drops it in the water.

Of course I did, they were on many menus! There was a place we went to frequently because it was close. And they had AWESOME fajitas. They made the tortillas right there in front of us in a stone oven and brought a massive platter of beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp, onions, peppers, beans, pico de gallo, and a **** ton of other sauces. More than the two of us could eat and all for about $5.

I did learn that tacos in Mexico and tacos here are two VERY different things. Note: Tacos there are ****loads better once you get past the fact that they're not what *we* would call tacos.

Oh, and there's no chili. ANYWHERE.

Basically, I learned the vast difference between American Mexican food and actual Mexican food. (as well as the difference between American strip clubs and Mexican strip clubs. LOL)

i fail to see any connection between the american flag and the mexican celebration of a battle, the two are not related in any way.

You can find them in the U.S. if you know where to look. Anyplace that has "taqueria" may serve actual tacos.

mmmm....carnitas tacos and tacos carne asada. Mmmmmmmmm.

There is chili, but it's not made with ground beef. Chili verde is a mexican pork stew cooked with green (usually anaheim) chilis. delicious.

Real Mexican food is about 10,000 times better than Americanized versions. And Mexican strip clubs have donkeys.

However, the principal needs to take a class on dress code do's and don'ts.
But it doesn't matter WHY they wore it. The why is irrelevant.

Fajitas are mexican food, for people who don't like mexican food.

(I like mexican food, I also like fajitas though. )

Oh I don't eat American tacos.... I make em authentic.....

    Tacos mexicanos de camarón

    I made these yesterday.

Did you have the "Tacos de Cabeza"? YUMMMM....

Oh, and there's no chili. ANYWHERE.
Nope, that's tex mex. now there are stews that go by the name of "chili" but that refers to the chili peppers used in making these stews.

Yeah there is a huge difference. My favorite region of mexican food is oaxacan.

Actually, it isn't irrelevant. Motive & effect are extremely important in school dress code issues.

For instance, I've seen schools ban wearing of rosaries and other religious symbols because gang members were using them to identify their affiliation at school (rosaries in the color of the usually latino gangs, the six-pointed star of david used to signify folks affiliation).

If the school deems the attire disruptive to the school climate, and is able to show that this has been the case by documenting exactly how the garment or item has been disruptive, the school can ban the attire.

The rights of students to free expression is trumped by the need to keep the school safe, and that has been consistently upheld in court.

Same deal at my house. We prefer carnitas, fish, or carne asada.
