So what's the solution? Tell us what your ideas are to solve this problem. You've been pretty critical of other's comments, so let's see what you have in mind.

That won't be happening in the Deep South...

you don't need the county to do your parenting for you. the solution is easy
let the kids know that the next time you hear them whine for a happy meal that they will be served [whatever they don't like to eat] the next meal
    then do it
    every time
in short order, 'happy meal' is an expression which will never emerge from their mouths ... they will make sure of it
we are negotiating about dividing a pizza and in the meantime israel is eating it

I can't do that, my kid has a medical issue and its a miracle when I can get him to eat at all. But I get your point and I don't care about it.

There is always an excuse for why you cannot parent well.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Hey, lay off the guy. I'm sure he and his wife are great parents. Everyone's kids whine for things at times.

IDK, maybe a crack pot idea of taxing these fast food behemeths to pay for the external costs associated to consuming their products. You know..... The cost we all will pay in increased taxes and decreased productivity.

With the procedes from said tax, you implement awareness programs and subsidize fruits, vegtables, etc.... You know; slow flood!

It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

It is often better to not respond to hateful comments and perpetuate the problem, so you can have this point.

Not subsidizing corn would greatly help this problem and it would reduce government spending.

Subsidize it at the consumer market place, not for producers. I guess i should have been a bit more clear.
