Crist originally supported the bill. It's the teachers unions that were the problem. And Crist caved to them and reversed his position.

G.W. Bush also said that the United States shouldn't be in the habit of nation-building. He was re-elected after trying to do just that in Iraq and Afghanistan. Scott Brown supports universal health care, and he was supported by tea baggers who are against it. I guess that tells you a lot about the character of the GOP.

Or that they flip-flop on the stances they get elected on. Whichever one you want to go with.

So when they back conservatives they are crazed purists, and when they back moderates they are flip-floppers. Hmmm.

I never said anybody was crazed, and it's the GOP themselves who are calling their own moderates "flip-floppers."

No. Bush just changed his position when it seemed viable, and Brown has stances that go against his supporters.

Same as Crist.

The only think the Americans in Floriduh have to focus on is making sure an American is elected to the Senate, not a Democrat or some other Progressive enemy of the Republic.

yeh, right, GFHC what a revelation !! So JFK, LBJ, the man who saved us from the Depression, the CIC who ended WW II with two boom booms, and all of the millions of fine people in this country were not ever Americans ? So what were they. Illegal aliens ? You statement can only have one rational reaction and that is the same one that is produced when one drinks Ipecac syrup.
