In certain cultures or maybe most cultures a "religious" figure is a symbol of authority and in essence propably a functioning authorty. Therefore it was not all that surprising that these kids did what the perves told them to.

Anyone entrusted with the care and protection of children, and then abuse that privilege, should be turned over to me. I will show them the true meaning of "Coming to Jesus." I don't suffer child abuse well.
