Somehow I thought one brave Republican would stand up for working people against the fat cats on Wall Street. How foolish was I? Not a single one? Incredible.
Indeed. If the fat cats get regulated, the GOP and its collection of sellouts get no bribes.

This is why the GOP needs to be cleared of all owned, bought-off, or otherwise business influenced members.

For the record, the Dems need the same, however, the Dems generally do not vote against things that will help the poor.

You support wallstreet and you are the enemy of the common working-class American.

So you would rather have this far from perfect bill rushed through Congress instead of improved upon?
The Party of NO has no interest in "improving" the bill. If by "improving" the bill....you mean watering it down to satisfy the interests of their corporate buddies...I wouldn't call that an improvement.

We need REAL reform in this country...not another photo op that really doesn't accomplish anything and placates the corporate interests that continue to screw the American public.

The GOP has shown where their hearts and souls lie...and it isn't with the people of America.

Both parties have drawn Treasury and Fed personnel from major financial institutions for many years. Your point?

to claim that the dems are somehow going to due whatever to big business that the populist elements of their party wants is complete pipedreams.

Its like the minions of the left thinking the uber rich elites of their party really want to help them crawl out of the cesspool of dependency and poverty. In reality, that is the LAST thing rich dems want

Re: GOP senators block debate on finance bill

Seems a moot point next to the fact that it is the GOP who has blocked debate on the bill for now.
