Besides, your objection seems to be that they dont' have "a full understanding of the facts" which has nothing to do with "tolerance."

Intolerance? Let me tell you about intolerance.

The catholic church publicly said that its priests behaviour was due to homosexuality :shock: Yeah sure, so why don't you tell that to every little girl that was abused by a priests as well.

The leaders of this religious order have time and time again tried to cover their asses instead of coming out with the truth. The abuse of hundreds of thousands of children around the world proves that there is something fundamentally wrong with their system. What is the solution? I have no frickin clue. But they deserve all the criticism they get, because what they're getting on earth, will be nothing compared to what they will get in hell if what they themselves preach is correct.

Self image or saving the children? I'd save the ****in child.

It is very telling though that when a jokester is coming up with outrageous things for the church to do that they would never do nor would anyone expect them to do, they put get rid of dodgy bishops (I'm assuming this means Bishops that have a past record of child rape) and to put a measure in place that would protect children. Like the idea of the pope, actually going out of his way to protect innocent children is just some far fetched loony toon idea.
 
It would be far better for every Catholic Priest to be issued with a packet of condoms upon being ordained.
At least that way their is little chance of them passing on some STD.
