But you are assming he's thinking, when his track record doesn't show that.

Agreed, it was BS when Bush did it, it's BS now. I'm all for the same standards. Where you expecting anything different?
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Yes, part of a bill passed by the Democratic congress in 2008 included a tax rebate as well.

Well, Obama already blew his promise, so, why not double down on ****ing the people over who voted for him. He's good at doubling down like that.

so like I just proved, thanks to you, you did not get any more or any less rebate under Obama, so the "fact" that he somehow lowered your taxes is dishonest at best.

On a side note, I love how its the "bush tax cuts" when you are bashing them, but its the "democrats passed tax cuts" when you want to protect Obama.

You are either being intellectually dishonest, or ignorant. The tax rebate in 2008 was for that year only. Had the Democrats (which you claim never cut taxes), not passed another one in 2009, then we would have not got another tax cut in 2009.

    stop whining.

Did you get a rebate in 2008? 2009?

So Obama just kept the same thing going? he did not "cut" taxes. He simply kept the status quo.

It amazes me how people follow the newspeak of our government officials.... By your logic, you can claim year after year, he's cutting new taxes, and you wont see a dime more.

As far as I'm concerned, the thread could have ended here. When Europeans proclaim a love affair for regressive taxation and say "they do fine" (which we all know is laughably stupid), the masses have spoken.

You may call them masses -- but I call them sheep due to that laughable stupidity you spoke about.
