    4) given your hostility to gun owners there is no doubt in my mind that you would ban guns and subject gun owners to all sorts of nastiness if you had the chance

    5) I am well armed for many reasons, one being people with your sort of mindset exist in this world
You and the creeps who thanked you can go to hell, if you are hoarding guns for people of "my sort" then you are truly insane.

We need to make sure that we do not have a government that wants to confiscaate things. We also need to position our society so that we do not have conditions that would goad people into a piss poor "solution" of confiscation.

Sane use and distribution of guns is one way to avoid potential confiscation. There is a fine line and balance between open and wild west access to all weapoins to all people even those such a psychotics, criminals, felons - former or current, the insane vs those who are normal citizens who should have access to guns.

If you make the reulations too loose yoou can and will have criminals and or insane getting guns. If you make regulations too tight you will artificially and unfairly restrict the rights of good normal citizens from owning guns.

Over the course of the history of our republic that pendulum has slung from one side to the other.

Yes there are those especially myopic and or ignorant about guns who hate guns who will and do want to ban guns. I just do not believe that such a wild eye liberal myoopic ignoramous occupies the WH right now, but I see that there are people on this forum who obviously do.

    We can agree to desagree.

Poor ole Matt Dillen. He didn't have the NRA and the republican party to tell him it was against the constitution to make everyone coming into Dodge to check their guns at the livery stable.
