He absolutely aided enemy propaganda there is no doubt about that and if confronted by his family I absolutely would say that to their faces.

None of which makes Murtha a traitor.

An asshole? Yes. A traitor? No.

As for "emboldening" the enemy, one could also say that criticizing Obama is emboldening the enemy too by showing the enemy that the people are not behind Obama and the war in Afghanistan. See how that works?

I don't actually believe that criticizing Obama is emboldening the enemy, but neither was Murtha's comments either.

I personally liked the idea of naming a Sewer Plant or Manure Farm after Bush, so I suppose that is fair.

The "manure farm" has already been named after Bush........ it's called The Prairie Chapel Ranch ranch, and is in Crawford Texas. :mrgreen:

Ya it takes a lot of courage and honor to falsely accuse murdering Iraqi civilians, "in cold blood," and then refusing to retract the statement after they were found innocent. :roll:
