Thats a completely intellectually dishonest interpretation of his post.

You said that you hate anything that increases your taxes. He pointed out a couple of programs that are funded by taxes. He didn't say anything about the military not deserving any benefits.

You wanna link where he said that? Show us your integrity and either admit that you were being dishonest or link his quote.

Not all heterosexual marriages involve children, either before or during. In fact, some can't, due to infertility or age. And some homosexuals have children.

Things take YEARS before they go to the Supreme Court. Why hasn't Roe v. Wade been back before the Supreme Court if you think that it is such a bad law?

Do you have any idea how long it takes for a case to get to the Supreme Court?

The fact that blacks have suffered through slavery doesn't mean that they cannot understand discrimination against others.
In fact, I would say just the opposite.

Why do you think so many Jews are supportive of gay rights? Because they understand.

Sure...there are some blacks that are blinded by their bible thumping churches. Blacks as a class are not immune to bigotry and homophobia as any group of people aren't.
Bigotry has never been exclusively white.

The overwhelming number of blacks I know are very supportive of gay rights...but I don't live in the South.

The injustice of keeping gay couples from marrying is of the same magnitude, however. Hence the comparison and why it persists -- because it's a valid point.

Last I checked, about 10% of the population was estimated to be homosexual.

You don't think that makes them a minority?

He is one black man and a huge liberal like you..I don't think he speaks for all black people........You should ask the black ministers that speak from the pulpit in the south..........
