Sorry....but the Supreme Court has already found that the right to marry is a fundamental right. Loving v. Virginia.

Yeah I kinda do. But then, I'm not Christian so I'm probably not as strict with my definition of Jesus' teachings as a Christian. For instance I think Paul is a load of rubish since he never met Jesus.

California represents the turning point in the battle. The moment that California decides by popular vote to allow gay marriage, it will be the beginning of the end of the religious war on LGBT. I think that is something worth waiting 2 years to see.

    You are almost there Navy....BINGO!!!!

That is exactly why a ban on gay marriage is going to be difficult to justify when the Supreme Court gets a test case.

Wow....I'm impressed that you are finally beginning to understand.

why would they even take the case if there has been a law against it for 15 years? Why haven't you submitted a law suit against the DOMA?

Agree, Paul's writings are often out of sync with the teachings attributed to Jesus. Most Christian churches, IMO, spend too much time on Paul's teachings and not enough of Jesus's teachings.
As far as the gay issue goes, isn't it odd that Jesus never had an opinion on it? Maybe he doesn't care?
Read Matt. chapter 25, that is the essence of christianity according to Jesus.
