What does the Second Amendment have to do with the Bible? Please Navy.....we do want to get you going there. Begin with the Biblical verse that talks about the Second Amendment.

"Blessed are the gun touters and bible clutchers".....yeah.....I don't think its in there.

Not approving of gay marriage is not "preaching hatred". It doesn't have to do with hating anyone. It's about protecting the sanctity of what marriage actually is, and not re-writing Webster's Dictionary and centuries of history, religious and otherwise.

I'm so happy this didn't get on the ballot. They just barely got a majority in California who support gay marriage. Another two years to sure up the numbers will ensure that there won't be another Prop 8.

LOL....so Webster's Dictionary is now the sanctimonious source of all knowledge?

You need to not only study the Bible...you need to study your history as well.

we live in a constitutional republic, to be sure. but having the state grant your preferred relationship (be it man with a woman, man with a man, man with two women, and so forth) the status of "marriage" is not a right.

I said nothing about the 2nd amendment. Whose post are you referring to?
MOST Americans who support the 2nd feel no need to go around armed.

There are a lot of people who felt the same way. I disagree though. There are a lot of people who are either ashamed of voting for prop 8 and regret it now....and there are many who are angry that they were misled by the Mormon propoganda.
