Israel is set to impose a military order which rights groups say could see tens of thousands of Palestinians deported from the occupied West Bank.
The order, which comes into force on Tuesday, could have "severe ramifications" for people in the West Bank, human rights groups say.
It classifies people without the right Israeli paperwork as "infiltrators".
Many people in the West Bank have ID cards from neighbouring countries, or papers that list Gaza as their home.
Now i completely understand from a human rights perspectives the ramifications of this decision (as well as the likely increase of regional tension that will follow).
But surely Israel completely reserves the right to do this? At the end of the day it is surrounded by hostile countries eager to give every penny to terrorist groups and see how far they can go. This is a nation dogged with foreign relations problems and extremism. Surely these measures will secure and ensure the integrity and safety of the Israeli state from those who have entered and live in Israel illegally for whatever nefarious reason (and away from that surely it reserves the rights to execute such hard measures if it means sorting out the illegal immigrant problem of the Arabs and the poverty that follows in some Arab filled regions).

Could have come at a better time though....
