To think that I've been wrong about the Repubs all this time.

Since when does it matter how much the media covers an issue in order for a bill to become law?
■Number one: let families and businesses buy health insurance across state lines
    .
■Number two: allow individuals, small businesses, and trade associations to pool together and acquire health insurance at lower prices, the same way large corporations and labor unions do.

■Number three: give states the tools to create their own innovative reforms that lower health care costs.

■Number four: end junk lawsuits that contribute to higher health care costs by increasing the number of tests and procedures that physicians sometimes order not because they think it's good medicine, but because they are afraid of being sued. snip

    ADDITIONAL COMMON-SENSE REPUBLICAN REFORM PROPOSALS

For more information about some of the other common-sense health care reforms proposed by Republicans, please visit the links below:

■Empowering Patients First Act (Republican Study Committee Health Care Reform Bill, introduced July 30, 2009)

■Improving Health Care for All Americans Act (Shadegg Health Care Reform Bill, introduced July 14, 2009)

■Medical Rights & Reform Act (Kirk-Dent Health Care Reform Bill, introduced June 16, 2009)

■Help Efficient, Accessible, Low-cost, Timely Healthcare (HEALTH) Act (Gingrey medical liability reform bill, introduced June 6, 2009)

■Small Business Health Fairness Act of 2009 (Johnson small business health plans bill, introduced May 21, 2009)

■Promoting Health and Preventing Chronic Disease through Prevention and Wellness Programs for Employees, Communities, and Individuals Act of 2009 (Castle Wellness & Prevention Bill, introduced July 31, 2009)

■Improved Employee Access to Health Insurance Act of 2009 (Deal auto-enrollment bill, introduced October 15, 2009)

■Health Insurance Access for Young Workers and College Students Act of 2009 (Blunt bill to improve health insurance coverage of dependents, introduced October 21, 2009)

Notice the dates on the other bills that the Republicans tried to get passed in the Dem controlled Congress.

I think you should try a stupid stunt like your buddies, the pinko ladies, and try to arrest each of them the way they tried to arrest Rove.

You'll be on the 6 o'clock news... as they carry you away to jail.

That would require ADK to actually... do something other post on a forum.

I'm currently working to get about 50 peeps down to Rep. Cirro Rodriguez's office (23rd Congressional District) to protest his vote for the Healthcare Bill. We're planning on camping out there and making a scene. I'll post pics if we get it off.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

What a coincidence. Many of your replies remind me of those kids answers.

I'm sure Stupak will leave congress compensated very well Lets just hope his seat isn't won by another Democrat. These guys commit political suicide in order to smack the American people democratically in the name of ideology and personal deals/bribes. Such martyrs.

I seriously doubt you were around when that show was on.

Well, that gives you something to live for anyway..... but guess what?

The people of the United States are going to demand the trials of those that took and offered bribes for votes.

    The dims are so screwed.
